- Red team
Pen testing measures your systems.
Red teaming measures your defenders.
We agree an objective, such as domain admin, payroll or your most sensitive data, and pursue it the way a capable attacker would: quietly, persistently, and without warning your team.
An honest test of whether anyone would notice.
A penetration test asks what is vulnerable. A red team asks a harder question: if a skilled attacker went after the thing you care about most, would your people, processes and tools catch them in time? Only a small group on your side knows the operation is running.
We emulate the techniques of the groups most likely to target you, mapped to MITRE ATT&CK, and favour stealth and living-off-the-land technique over noisy exploits. At the end you see a side-by-side timeline: what we did, when, and whether your stack and your team saw it.
- An agreed objective and rules of engagement, signed off before we start
- A full attack narrative from initial access to objective
- A timeline mapping every action against your detection events
- Detection gap analysis: where you saw us, where you missed, and why
- Prioritized improvements to detection, response and hardening
- A debrief with your defenders once the operation is disclosed
Objective first, then the quiet approach.
Set the objective
With a small trusted group, we agree what we are going after, what is off limits, and how to deconflict if your team escalates.
Gain access
Phishing, external exploitation, or an assumed-breach start from a compromised laptop, VPN account or cloud identity.
Move quietly
Privilege escalation, lateral movement and persistence using native tools and signed binaries, the way real intruders avoid detection.
Reach and report
We reach the objective, or document exactly what stopped us, then walk your defenders through the timeline.
Start where the risk is.
Adversary emulation
Campaigns modelled on the documented techniques of groups targeting your sector, from ransomware crews to long-dwell espionage actors.
Assumed breach
Start already inside, from a phished workstation or stolen credential, to spend the time on internal detection, segmentation and privilege control.
Physical and social
Pretext entry, tailgating, badge cloning and device implants, coordinated with the digital campaign where in scope.
Command and control
Covert channels and persistence that test whether your endpoint, network and SIEM monitoring can spot and disrupt live attacker communication.
Who it is for
Mature organizations with their own SOC or a managed detection service, who want their detection and response tested rather than their patch list. If you have not had a penetration test recently, start there.
- Purple teaming, fix the gaps with your team in the room
- MSOC, detection that catches what we found
- Threat hunting, look for real intruders using the same techniques
- Penetration testing, the vulnerability baseline first
What buyers ask.
We already do pen testing.
That answers a different question. Pen testing measures your vulnerabilities. Red teaming measures your defenders: whether anyone notices, how fast, and what they do about it.
What if our team detects you?
Then that is a result worth having, and it goes in the report. We agree a deconfliction process in advance so a real escalation is handled cleanly and the operation can continue or stop as you choose.
Is it safe to run against production?
Rules of engagement are agreed in writing before we start, including what is off limits. We demonstrate access rather than cause damage, and your trusted group can pause the operation at any time.
How long does an operation run?
It depends on the objective and how stealthy we need to be. Some run for weeks to test whether sustained, low-and-slow activity is caught. We scope the duration with you before we start.
Find out if anyone would notice.
Put an engineer on a call to scope a red team operation. No charge, no commitment.
